Management
The Management team comprises of:

Mr. Meshack Tshekedi, General Manager
Tshekedi, a Chemical Engineer and Economics graduate also holds a Master of Science qualification in Engineering Management from the University of Missouri-Rolla in the United States of America. As General Manager of MRI Botswana, Tshekedi is responsible for managing and guiding the company in all its operating and financial activities in order to grow and improve the company’s earnings.

Dr Khumoetsile Mapitse, Medical Director
Dr. Mapitse, a Medical Doctor trained in anaesthesia and with a passion for critical care and emergency medicine, joined MRI Botswana in May 2007. As the Medical Director he oversees Clinical Governance in the organization. He is also responsible for the Training Department.

Brightson Chikoja, Finance Manager
Mr. Chikoja, a CFA charterholder and Fellow of ACCA, is vastly experienced in the major sectors of the Botswana economy. He has been with Deloitte and Touché for close to 8 years. He brings corporate finance skills, corporate governance knowledge and provides advice to the senior management team on finance related issues.

Byron Foster, Chief Operations Officer
Mr. Foster is an advanced life support paramedic with 18 years’ experience in the EMS industry. Previously working for MRI Botswana as a paramedic and Base Manager, Mr. Foster recently re-joined the team after acquiring additional experience in the Middle-East. Mr Foster is now responsible for the realignment and improvement of MRI Operations.

Morne van der Klohsrt, Operations Manager
Mr. Van der Klashorst, trained as an advanced life support paramedic, joins MRI to manage and oversee the EMS Operations. He has acquired 18 years experience in the EMS industry and has honed his skill expertise in the EMS industry through working in the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Sierra Leone. Mr. Van der Klashorst is the overall manager of all the EMS functions along with maintaining the high service standards in the Operations department.
Nellie Namame, Call Centre Manager
Mrs. Namame, a registered nurse and midwife with a Master in Health studies and an MSc in Emergency and Trauma, oversees the day to day running of the 24 hour Health Call Centre as well as the entire operations of the MRI Call Centre Department.

Beulah Emig, Client Services Manager
Ms. Emig, a marketer with an MA in Marketing,has over 8 years of experience in product and service marketing management. She is responsible for the nurturing and management of the MRI Botswana brand and relationship management of all its stakeholders. |
