Air Rescue

MRI Botswana provides air ambulances service through an aircraft that is configured to ICU standards, and based in Gaborone. Where feasible, one family may be allowed to accompany the patient on the aircraft. This air rescues services extends into the SADC region and across the continent.

In the Okavango Delta region, small, light aircrafts are used to evacuate the patients in case of an emergency, by the Maun based paramedics.
